Scott has given so much to this community, and it was our privilege to stand beside him and his loved ones during this time. The outpouring of support was a reminder of what makes Solon so special.

Many of you asked how you can show your support for the Kleppe family—we’re happy to share that the Kleppe Strong storefront is now open to the public. All proceeds will go to the Kleppe family.

Today, we honor and remember the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation to provide the freedom we enjoy each and every day.

As we wrap up for the day, we reflect on all the love that was bestowed upon us today by our community, and our local businesses that show up to support us. We also can't forget our close friends and family that pitch in and help us put on an amazing breakfast. We cannot thank you all enough!!! Solon, IA TRULY is the best place to call home!

-Handicap parking will be available in the north lot of the Firehouse (highlighted in blue) ♿️
-For off-street parking, please follow signage
-There will also be parking available around the neighborhood--Lite Window & Door, Versa, Solon Pet Center, Solon Learning Academy and the lot on the corner of Hwy 1 and Windflower Lane (highlighted in yellow)

Who is ready for some tasty pancakes, eggs, sausage and ham!! We are very excited to see all of you this Sunday! If you have any photos you'd like to share from previous years breakfast, we'd love to see them.

We'll be out and about in neighborhoods over the next couple weeks, selling tickets for our upcoming pancake breakfast. If you see us around, give us a wave, stop and say hello, and grab a couple of tickets.

Can’t make it to the breakfast but still want to contribute? We’ve had a few requests to share our Venmo—feel free to donate there if you’d like to support but can't join us on May 24.
