Woo hoo! We've officially got commitments of $1000 (out of the $3000 needed) to master and press Plague Years onto LP! Our first ten!

The details:
Limited edition (limited part being marbled or plattered vinyl OR the insert art) of 100 LPs. $100 each, signed, your name in the liner notes. When we get get close to 30 committments, we'll ping you to get names and addresses, and get you a link to place your order.

Start the next ten committments and say "Yes!" in the comments.

I'll list the tunes there as well. Yay!

Thanks to everyone for the amazing birthday wishes! It was indeed a sweet day with good food, music and connection.

Now that it's live on streaming, since it's a special day, I want to ask you all for a gift: would you take 4:49 seconds of your time to listen to my latest song, "Alive"? And if it does something for you, maybe add it to your streaming playlist, and play it enough to get it into your being?
Share with your friends. Read the lyrics. I might even make you a little happy, even though it seems dark.
To get paid for streams on one of the platforms, each song has to get 1000 streams in a year. If just 100 folks played the song ten times, we'd hit the nut.
Knowing that the music is still doing something for ya would be the best way to slide into 65.

If you haven't had a chance to hear(When I Was) "Alive" you should go hear it. It's different, but still in the vein of a lot of BPO / GC stuff. It will be out for streaming in just nine days! But you cn download for free if you like. If it beats your box, consider donating to help get the next one out!

I think we have a mix! "When I was Alive" is done, ready for mastering!

"Plague Years" is starting to feel like a collection. I keep going for my version of "Dark Side of the Moon" - that elusive end-to-end musical voyage that takes you someplace and changes you along the way. I feel like I got pretty close with "Vitus Dance" but I haven't got there yet. But, it could happen.
Next starting tune might be "Naked With Friends" for some comic relief with a groove.
In spite of the fact that we don't even own a turntable anymore, I'd like to put all of this on vinyl. Something about LPs makes the experience more "real" than streaming, or even CDs. There is something about LPs that just require closer listening. Maybe I’m just old and that was the way it imprinted on me.
