We loved celebrating our Ancient Greek and Roman Day 🤍

Students came dressed as the historical figure they had been studying and shared presentations with the class about their chosen hero from the past. Along with their presentations, students also created boards or slideshows to showcase what they learned.

Days like these give students the opportunity to engage deeply with history while building confidence in speaking, creativity, and research.

Every student deserves an environment where they feel welcomed and comfortable being themselves. We believe a strong sense of belonging helps students grow with confidence both inside and outside the classroom. 🌱

They’re used to being told what to do next, moving through assignments quickly, and not always feeling connected to what they’re learning.
And over time, that can start to show up as:
avoiding work
rushing through it
or just checking out
What’s been interesting to watch is how that starts to shift once the structure changes.
Not all at once, but in small ways:
getting started without prompting
asking more specific questions
staying with something a little longer
