Working in New York City is particularly special to our employees due to KOW’s history. KOW was founded at 2 Penn Plaza in Midtown Manhattan by Kenneth Wille. At the time, he had no idea the company would grow the way it did, or that one day he would be working on sites only 20 minutes from that original, quaint office building. We are so grateful for our employees who have helped make KOW what it is today, and we are reminded of their hard work every time we work in our favorite city.

At KOW, safety is a priority. When working on construction sites, it is incredibly important that
everybody knows how to navigate situations safely and with caution. At KOW, all employees are
required to become OSHA certified, even interns. Safety is paramount to a successful and
productive workplace environment, which is why KOW assures all their employees are educated
and well versed in OSHA guidelines.

As we continue to reminisce about KOW’s NYC projects, one site immediately comes to mind. B’nai Jeshurun, located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is truly a site to behold. With its stunning architecture and cultural significance, it was an absolutely delightful project to work on. We at KOW are so grateful to contribute to New York City’s beautiful skylines, and this site exemplifies that.
