Last year, JoAnne Lynch unsuccessfully ran for Library Trustee. This year she's back looking to determine what's appropriate for your child to read in the children's section. (Her words, not ours). It's crucial to note that she has openly expressed views that concern some members of our community, particularly in regard to book selection and LGBTQ+ inclusivity at the Smithtown Library.

Let's stand together against censorship and uphold our right as parents to make decisions about the reading materials available to our children.

When you cast your vote on Tuesday, October 10th, consider supporting candidates Deal, Baker-Stines, Stabile, and Sarvis, who are committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive library for all members of our community. Your vote matters in shaping the future of our library!

Perhaps more than any other parent, Vlad Pean has made it a point to be open minded and listen to those with opinions other than his own. Everyone knows this. This video clearly shows this. As this election turned nasty, Savoretti, Craine and Guttieri supporters - some of whom would applaud him at meetings - are twisting his words to paint him as divisive. It's unfair, not true and sadly, nothing but racist! We ask you to watch and see for yourself. We need unity once and for all. Vlad Pean has been saying this for YEARS!
