After some research I find out that regular people find regular transactions are stressing for nothing. The reason they are going to charge a fee is because Venmo used to give purchase protection for free. That would mean that if you were to buy something from someone you didn't know and you were unsure if you would receive the item then Venmo would try to work it out. Now we have to pay for that protection. So those of us that were worried about how to phrase a payment, you don't need to worry. After today you will be able to click on a button that says Goods/Services out a button that says Friend. You can choose the Friend button if you don't need purchase protection.
