Meet your Orchard Care Experts!🌳🍑🍎🍐 These three friends are long-time stewards of the land and are looking forward to sharing their knowledge throughout the rest of our Orchard Care Workshop series. Only 3 more workshops left! Don't miss out on learning the value of polyculture as well as the skill of root layering, cloning and harvesting fruit trees!

Tyler: he/him 🌱
Tyler is a professional botanist who specializes in fruit and nut trees, integrated pest management and plant propagation. Special expertise in floriculture and chestnut trees. Passionate advocate for local agriculture.

Bradford: they/them 🌱
Throughout the years, Revive the Roots has been a place for Bradford to practice thier passion of caring for and learning about plants and the natural systems they are a part of. As a first-time instructor, they invite you to explore what it means to be a part of your surrounding ecology in a meaningful way.

"Rehabilitating habitats and local ecology through native perennial plantings and invasive management has been a joy and at times a struggle. Watching the environment heal itself, with a little educated input and guidance, is really rewarding and feels like being part of a never-ending performative art piece where you are both the creator and the observer." - Bradford

Spring is in full force at Revive The Roots & we are so happy to have ***r.hikes back at Mowry Commons this coming weekend. 🌈 Q***r Hikes is a fun, safe space for the LGBTQ+ community in southern New England to explore nature & make new friends. They will be leading a hike that starts with exploring the community garden spaces, followed by a hike up the fruit path to explore the Pine Forest. 🌲

Join them at the welcome gate at 10am to explore all the wonderful ephemeral features that we love about this space. Link to register is in their bio. Follow Q***r Hikes to learn more! 🦝

Trails are always open dusk till dawn.
