J Squared Racing

Saturday was the first race of the year for J Squared Racing! We went into the day looking to get a bunch of data and knock the rust off. That's just what we did! Significant improvements were made every time our cars hit the the track. We'd like to thank our sponsors midatlanticmunition and Evergreen Medical Wellness! We couldn't do it without you guys.

Jon started the day off warming up to his car and the new setup. He got faster and faster, kept a clean nose, and was able to finish the night off with valuable data and seat time.

Jordan came off a significant rebuild from last August in California. The car got a new front clip and various improvements to find some more speed. It was tight off the trailer but it had some decent speed in it still. Jordan qualified 5th out of 14 cars.

Both cars started the first main towards the rear. Jordan's race came to an end quickly on lap one after over driving it into turn three and tagging the wall. Jon played the smooth and steady strategy. He got quicker as the race went on and was able to pick up a few spots!

The second main was better for both cars. Jon and Jordan started side by side in the very back. They both wanted to start the race off at their own pace and warm up to their cars. A few laps in they came up to speed and started clicking off some good times! The checkered flag flew. Jon came home 8th and Jordan 5th. Steady improvements for both cars and a good day of racing!

We got some racing news! Jon and Jordan will be running a few races this season. This is going to be a huge season for J Squared Racing! We will kick off with a shakedown run on June 3rd to knock the rust off and get a little data at Magic Valley Speedway. The Prelude to the dream 50 race on June 24th at Magic Valley Speedway will be our first big race followed by the big Dream 100 Cali race on August 19th. Jordan will also be running in Meridian Speedway on June 23rd. We are extremely excited for this season and can't wait to get back on the track. Stay tuned for updates!
