Started from the GlowForge now we’re here!

This beast of a machine has made working in the shop so much faster and more efficient.

I’ve been able to create more detail on smaller pieces and upgrade the size of my projects.

With a larger platform to work with and the ability for more finer details, the possibilities aren’t infinite but definitely close!

The GlowForge was perfect to learn on and a stepping stone to working with a machine like this!

These equipment upgrades are a sweet reminder of how much Kill-A-Byte has grown.

I cannot thank you all enough for allowing me to create fun and memorable pieces for you!

I’m excited to see how much Kill-A-Byte will grow with these upgrades in the near future!

The workshop has been busy, to say the least. The laser cutter/engraver, two 3D printers, and my lathe (for bowls, pens and more!) have all been humming away with projects non-stop. Between plaques for military members heading to their next duty station, trophies, luggage tags and other commissions; it is always my favorite part to stop by my little vendor booths around town to see items I’ve made go to their forever homes. More space for more projects and I’m happy to oblige! I also have a CNC machine that will be up and running when I get a moment to breathe. 😉

It’s always a treat (pun intended) to drop by Fresco Olde Towne Slidell for some goodies from the market and see/support the other vendors. I already made a mental note of items to get for loved ones as their birthdays and the holidays loom just over the horizon. But make sure you catch it while you can! Some of these items are definitely going quick!

We enjoyed yesterday afternoon with a little working lunch at Fresco Olde Towne Slidell! Breakfast wrap was delicious and we tried the Rehydrate juice. No wonder we were able to power through our task list!

We were craving even more of the menu before we even left; I didn’t know that was possible! We’ve never been disappointed with our orders and the service is always friendly. It was difficult not to choose what we’ve had before, but I’m glad we tried new items. Now we’re really going to struggle choosing just one next time! 😅
