The Leadership Northshore Remembered Forever team is excited to announce the addition of both Sgt. Earl Lucien Alfred and Slidell Police Department's names to be engraved in the New National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC. Due to the generous contributions from many businesses, organizations and individuals for the monument, with the funds left over we were able to make a donation in Sgt. Earl Alfred's name to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. We were contacted by representatives of the organization who informed us of this great opportunity. Their names will forever be engraved along a glass bridge inside of the museum. The names added will form a Thin Blue Line across the bridge. The time has finally come. With all of the support of our generous sponsors we have completed the monument. The invitation to the dedication is attached. We hope to see everyone at the unveiling. Saturday September 24th 9am on the lawn of the Slidell Police Department.
