Today as I sit reflecting on 26 years worth of my life I realized I’ve accomplished more than I could have ever imagined as a kid. I am a self published poet, I’ve had my photography published, I’ve worked at a newspaper, I’ve traveled to 8 states (and counting), I am a godmom, ive made countless friendships, and I’ve learned SO MANY hard lessons. Life isn’t easy, it gets very hard but I thank God for those hard times because it draws me nearer to him. Once I overcome those hard times I KNOW I can get through others. Sometimes life feels like it’s falling apart, when in reality it’s falling together. Every hardship, every wonderful core memory, every tear that falls, it’s all apart of life. 26 years and I’m not where I thought I would be in my life, but I also never thought I’d be a writer. Little me would be shocked at everything we’ve accomplished. And that’s enough for me now. So here’s to 27, and the hopes that I can check even more off my list! 🎂✨

Life has been super crazy, but I’ve been pushing myself to work on my book more. I have one more journal to sort through and then we will be in the (my) editing part! 📝
