The books are officially open for the first-ever Franklin Ducks Unlimited Golf Tournament! Grab a few buddies, come enjoy some cold drinks, and hit the course for a fun-filled day of golf, prizes, and great times — all while supporting wetland conservation.

The NORTHSHORE SPORTSMAN BASH is the unofficial kickoff to duck season, and we are getting FIRED UP! 🔥

⏳ 80 days until Early Teal
⏳ 94 days until Black-Bellied Whistlers
⏳ 136 days until Duck Season (West Zone)
⏳ 143 days until Duck Season (East Zone)

And we’re bringing more than just raffles 👀
We’ll also have Backwater Decoys, Black Cypress Waterfowl Gear, and Southern Quacker Wildlife Conservation set up with tables at the event!

🦆 A little behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship from Backwater Decoys!

Jake over at Backwater Decoys isn’t just making decoys — he’s creating working pieces of art, one step at a time. From rough carving to the finished paint job, a whole lot of skill, patience, and talent goes into every bird.

These aren’t just something nice to look at either. You can hunt over them in the spread or display them on your mantel when the season is over. That’s what makes a handcrafted decoy special.

And the best part? Backwater Decoys will be at the NORTHSHORE SPORTSMAN BASH showing off the process and bringing their craftsmanship with them. 👀

You might even get to see how one of these beautiful decoys comes to life… and who knows, one just might end up in somebody’s hands before the night is over. 😏
