Olde Towne will be celebrating the 250th Anniversary!
Before the festivities begin, there will be a golf cart parade! Sign up for the fun & stay for the festivities! 🇺🇸 🧨

Just like Uncle Sam, we want YOU!

We're calling on families, friends, businesses, clubs, and community groups to decorate golf carts and join the FREE "Celebrate America 250" Golf Cart Parade on Saturday, July 4, at 2 p.m. in Olde Towne Slidell.

Show off your patriotic spirit, honor our veterans and military, celebrate your favorite part of American culture, and gather your family and friends for an afternoon of fun and community spirit.

Olde Towne is going BIG this Independence Day.

We’re bringing you the biggest fireworks show we’ve ever had, plus all the things you’ve come to expect from us: the 6th Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest, the kids’ watermelon eating contest, live music, cooling stations, food, drinks, and a full night of red, white, and blue fun.

Come celebrate America’s milestone birthday with us in Olde Towne!

Schedule:
4:30 PM — Festivities begin
5:00 PM — Hot Dog Eating Contest
5:30 PM — Kids’ Watermelon Eating Contest
9:00 PM — Fireworks
Live music continues until midnight

Wear your red, white, and blue and come celebrate with us.

TODAY is the day! 🍋

🍋 TOMORROW: Prepare to squeeze the day at Lemonpalooza! 🍋

Here are a few reminders:
➡️ All guests must visit the starting point at the City Hall Courtyard right next to the Slidell Museum (see "Start Here!" below) to taste-test in the Kids' Lemonade Competition happening from 9am-12pm (entry fee: $5) and purchase their punch card to participate in the Lemonpalooza Crawl from 3pm-6pm ($15).
➡️ For the Kids' Lemonade Competition, make sure to peruse the lemonades and pick the best one. Kids will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the best lemonade, along with a separate prize for the most creative stand design.
➡️ For the Lemonpalooza Crawl, once you're done with all locations on your punch card, go back to the starting point and enter your card into a raffle to win a gift basket full of local must-haves.
