Couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my birthday than kicking off something beautiful for the community! 🤗

We’ve officially started building out our indoor grow space for the Community Harvest, and we’re getting ready to start 288 seeds — that’s 288 little promises of growth, nourishment, and abundance 🌱✨

One of the sweetest parts? Every single plant ID card was handwritten by my wife ✍️❤️ — a quiet act of love that reminds me just how rooted this work is in care and intention. We haven’t even planted yet, and you can already feel the love in the room.

The full seed starting station is still coming together (grand reveal soon **), but trust — it’s going to be something special!

We’ll have plenty of extra seedlings and baby plants available for y’all to start your own grow — whether it’s indoors on a windowsill or out in the sunshine 🪴☀️

This is just the beginning, and I’m so grateful to start this next season of growth on a day that already means so much to me.

Thanks for growing with us. Big things are blooming 🌻

In the heart of our city, beneath The Painted Lady, this nonprofit space is for fostering community connections and growth. This space has been designed to serve as a resource center where individuals from ALL walks of life can come together to cultivate ideas, relationships, and initiatives. While this space is still undergoing renovation, we are excited to share what will be available soon! 🚧

Features of Project Nurture:
🏡 Community Building: A spacious and inviting area equipped with comfortable seating. Community members can collaborate on projects, attend workshops, or simply enjoy each other’s company! Our welcoming environment encourages camaraderie and the start of lasting bonds.

🌿 Community Garden: We will soon have a lush garden! You can soon learn about sustainable gardening and participate in seasonal planting events. This garden is a testament to our commitment to community self-reliance.

🌍 Social Change Hub: A dynamic center for those passionate about making positive changes in the community. Here, you will be able to attend talks, join discussion groups, and plan impactful events that aim to improve our society.

✨ Classes and Events: We will offer a range of classes and events, including self-care nights, movie nights, and potlucks, providing ample opportunities for community members to come together as a group. Additionally, there will be opportunities to collaborate with and support other nonprofits.

🌾 Year-Round Initiatives: Our indoor/outdoor grows will provide fresh produce for our community food bank and other nonprofits all year long. We will also organize food and clothing drives to support those in need. Furthermore, free vendor events will be held to showcase local artists and their work, fostering a thriving artistic community.

By integrating art and community initiatives, Project Nurture will become more than just a space—it’s a movement towards community empowerment and sustainable living. 🌱We invite you to join us in nurturing a supportive and thriving community once our renovations are complete. 🤝
