Over the weekend, SDIA President Aubrey Byrnes and Vice President Hailey King had the opportunity to attend the DIDIT Training with Klijah Mitchell in Rapid City, South Dakota.

The workshop brought interpreters together for an engaging and thought-provoking learning experience focused on strengthening interpreting practice and professional growth. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from Klijah and connect with colleagues across the state.

A big thank you to the South Dakota Department of Human Services – Division of Rehabilitation Services for hosting this training in coordination with SD Deaf Resource & Outreach Programs and for continuing to invest in professional development opportunities for interpreters in South Dakota.
