Signage went up Tuesday morning at Los Bravos Mexican Restaurant, which is opening in the former 75 Diner location on South Highway 75. The owner of Los Bravos, Luis Abundes, Jackson, purchased the former 75 Diner restaurant from Codie Deutsch earlier this year and plans to open soon. Abundes also owns Fiesta Brava Mexican Restaurant in Jackson. Another Fiesta Brava operates in Rock Rapids, Iowa. He also owns several other restaurants in other states.

Ace Neon Signs is hiring a graphic designer and sign sales associate wanted for custom sign shop. Looking for an energetic personality to help assist in multiple facets of the sign business. Full time position, Mon – Friday. Adobe Creative Suite skills needed. Good communication skills needed. Sign shop experience preferred. Wage pending experience. Responsibilities would include:

Design - Lit & Nonlit Sign Layouts - Create sign prints for potential customers. Listen to customers needs and create signage layouts accordingly. Finalize drawings once job is approved and update files.

Vinyl jobs – Communicate with customer and layout door, vehicle and sign face vinyls as needed. Field measure and create prints for approval. Finalize drawings for production.

Logo Design – Create custom logos per customers request. Create vector artwork for non vectored art.

Web Management – Maintain company social media accounts and website.
