STC Media Design students are diving deep into the world of laser cutting and engraving with our Trotec Speedy 360 laser!

In our latest project, students are tasked with photographing a campus building, converting the photos into line art, and using the laser cutter/engraver to output the design onto a wooden ornament. This blend of photography and digital fabrication opens up new avenues for artistic expression.

Second-year Media Design students visited Carsforsale.com yesterday for an industry tour. CFS has become one of the largest employers of our graduates in Web Design. The tours are inspiring and insightful, and it’s always fun to catch up with the many STC alums who are employed there!

STC Media Design students attended American Advertising Federation SD - Student Day, taking advantage of industry panels, portfolio critiques, roundtable discussions, and networking with media professionals.
