Private Swim Lessons with Karla Mlachak

35 years ago, I was scuba diving and suffered an injury to my ears. Since then, I have not gone deeper than 12 feet in the water, and more recently, not deeper than 9 feet. I gave up an activity that I loved over a fear of a repeat injury. Last week, I hired a private scuba guide and slowly reintroduced myself to a favorite love. Please please please say yes to any activity that you once loved and say yes to overcoming ingrained fears. We are way stronger and more capable than we give ourselves credit for . Say yes to the water and say yes to living a life unafraid.

Wherever there is water, there must be a dedicated watcher to help keep swimmers safe. I choose Murphy as my extra set of eyes!

We have a swim and Library mascot! Puss n boots is here to help cheer us on our swimming and reading journey. I’m so excited!!!!
