Here are some things to remember:

1. Build Positive Credit.

2. Keep Credit Utilization below 10%.

3. No Late Payments

4. No Hard Inquiries

5. If you decide to pay an account in collections which I do not recommend unless you get a good settlement amount and ask for a pay per delete. Meaning the collector agrees to delete the negative account after you pay. I do recommend getting this in writing.

6. Last but not least, please be sure to call the bureaus to remove any old addresses. You only need your current address on file.

Please note while in credit repair your credit scores will fluctuate, this is normal. Most importantly, follow the steps above while working to remove the negative accounts.
