“We had a little bit of a running behind kind of morning, trying to get 3 kids out the door can be a task sometimes 🥰 we decided to stop at Gear Up in Silverton because Olive kept asking for a doughnut. We got there and of course she's walking around saying hi to everyone making her rounds! There were 3 old men sitting all together just watching her and smiling, she was being so sweet and friendly with them it made my mama heart happy. One of them came up behind me and gave me $10 to get us coffee and doughnuts. He said I just wanted to make sure that you knew your doing a great job and she is the sweetest little thing l've ever met🥹🥹😢🥹
I'm not sure he truly knew how much I needed to hear that from a total stranger. God is good and definitely put this person in my path”

Soup of the week: Chicken Tortilla! This is gluten free, paleo and whole30 approved as is for those of you who are working on New Year’s resolutions or can’t do gluten or dairy.

And because we know that secrets don’t make friends so here is the ingredient list:

Start with a little olive oil
Onion 🧅
Garlic 🧄 (flu season won’t know what hit it)
Pasilla peppers (lots of flavor, a little heat)
Fire roasted tomatoes 🍅
Carrots 🥕
Zucchini 🤪
Chicken thighs🍗
Paprika
Salt 🧂
Cilantro
chicken broth (we use Kirkland brand ✌🏻)
Top with avocado 🥑

And for those of us who are all about the gluten and the dairy: let’s add some tortilla chips & sour cream!
