Last year, Anatolii had just stepped outside his home in to close his gate when a drone appeared and immediately dropped a munition.
Anatolli was severely injured by the shapnel. One of his legs is now shorter than the other, which has caused spinal curvature and makes walking and working difficult. Today, he participates in sessions with HI to improve his mobility and regain his independence.
"As an athlete, I've always known how to train through pain," Anatolli shares. "Now, every step is a different kind of competition — a daily battle to move, to work, and to reclaim the man I was before the strike."
