Eyes of Paint Branch

CAUTION: Mama bear and cub sighted on the Cloverly Loop trail this morning (5/30) at 8:30 a.m. Note that she will be protective. Do not approach.

It's World Migratory Bird Day, and the warblers are coming through our area in their breeding plumage. Here are a black-and-white warbler and a yellow-rumped warbler seen in the watershed today (Saturday 5/9/2026).

EOPB W**d Warrior members were invited to assist with a native planting event at Maydale Conservation Park today!

The event was hosted by Montgomery Parks, who partnered with Identity, to provide volunteer environmental opportunities to its youth program. Together, we planted 370 native plant plugs along the Upper Paint Branch stream!!
