My sculpture “Wheelie Bike” Right next to the big trike in Takoma Park, MD. Purchased by Republic restaurant, then transferred to Motorkat restaurant/bar/venue. New paint job I did to match.
A dozen cities, 16 deployments, 75 bicycles, thousands of riders.
Nuit Blanche 2013 and Gorilla Trik-ing on my kinetic roller: a 3 piece of the BATALA riding in front of the Shaw Library on 7th St. DC, with hundreds of other folk riding throughout the night - when not standing in line for other fun events. Extra squeezy horn bulbs across the dash by highly esteemed Heartless Machine via Christopher Locke. Free delicious caffeine by La Colombe Coffee Truck. Great to meet so many familiar faces on the streets for hours of almost getting run over, and low-speed high-novelty.
Midnight in Langley Park, Dancing in the streets, at a Mc'D's, to latin dance music, free unsweetened tea night. Unexpected levity taking The Big Trike home from Public Art (exhibition Proposals) fete.
