Frank Owens,

What a true pleasure it has been to work with you and to have that working relationship grow into a real friendship. To simply say you will be missed does not really seem to do justice to you transitioningto the ancestors. You were one of those rare gems that brought light to the world. Your musical talent was amazing and your brilliance were both used for forces of good by touching countless lives in profound and positive ways, mine included.

For those of us who were fortunate to work with you, it was like getting a chance to fly close to the sun. The world is a little less bright without you in it, but your gift through your music will live on forever.

Thank you for taking a chance on me and working with me. Your guidance, mentorship, friendship high expectations, insistence on excellence were infectious and I will always hold those everyday lessons dear and close. I am so grateful 🙏🏽 I was able to catch you and wish you Happy Birthday by singing for you this earlier this month. I did not think it would be the last time we would speak, but I'm grateful we had such a good conversation. You always did such a thoughtful happy birthday sonata for your friends and family. What a simple yet truly thoughtful thing to do year in and year out. I thought what a nice thing to do by returning the gesture to you. I'm so glad I did!

I'll miss those birthday calls from you. Your professional musical credits are vast and I am so happy to be among the artist with whom you chose to work, but it's the off stage kindness and class that I will miss most.

You were a true class act and I pray you are at rest and that in your transition that you did not suffer. I send my deepest and most sincere condolences to ALL the family, friends and fans on losing our beloved and one and only maestro, FRANK OWENS.

You use to always tell me you planned on living forever. Well, you will live forever through your music, in our hearts and the countless lives you have touched during your very well lived dash. Thank you to everyone who has and continues to share your condolences and experiences with and for Frank. It is comforting to see the outpouring of love for Frank and his family.
