We are so grateful to Professor Gabriel and the University of Maryland Extension for bringing an AI digital literacy class to our Long Branch community🙌 This has tremendously helped our residents navigate the changing digital landscape and learn new high-impact digital skills💻

Yesterday was a milestone day for our beloved Long Branch community! ☺️

We were thrilled to celebrate the official launch of Long Branch Main Street with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house🎉This incredible initiative opens the door for even deeper cohesion between our neighbors, local businesses, organizations, and county and state agencies.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate, connect, and look toward a brighter, more unified future for Long Branch! 🤝

🏡 Midyear Check-in: LBHAT is Working to Build a Stronger Long Branch!

The Long Branch Housing Action Team (LBHAT) recently gathered for our Midyear Evaluation Meeting to review the progress we’ve made on key housing and community goals we set back in December 2025.

Our members shared updates on some incredible initiatives, including:

✅Tenant Support: Expanding outreach and collaborating closely with the Renters Alliance.

✅Advocacy: Pushing for critical tenant protections like Just Cause Eviction.

✅Community Collaboration: Working alongside the Community Ambassador Team (CAT), Purple Line Preservation Network, and the University of Maryland studio class.

✅Strategy: Assessing fundraising, strengthening partnerships, legal rights education initiatives, and reviewing the ENOUGH housing action plan.

LBHAT is more committed than ever to advancing housing stability, protecting tenant rights, and expanding affordable housing opportunities right here in Long Branch! 💪
