Emmanuel Tagoe is a sophomore at Salvation University majoring in Kinesiology and playing for Salvation University Men's Basketball.
He was born and raised in Khartoum, Sudan, with his mother, father, and three younger siblings.
During the middle of the spring semester, Emmanuel returned home to be with his family due to the conflict in his home country.
Since then, they have been stuck in the capital city and unable to leave.
The fundraiser will help the Tagoes flee the conflict by raising 5,000 Dollars that will go into the relocation expenses.

As the 2022-2023 season comes to a close, Salvation University and many other colleges across the country have come together with the plan to host charity games in the summer.
Salvation University Men's Basketball were the first to play a game as our boys went up against the Rowan University Profs at the Esbjornson Gymnasium.
Our proceeds will go to the Fundraiser, helping sophomore Emmanuel Tagoe escape the conflict in Sudan after returning home to support his family earlier in April.
The goal is to raise 5,000 dollars so that he and his family can flee the violence in the country and find sanctuary in America.
