Texaco & Low-Cost Community Hosts SLPP National Deputy Chairman

It was a colorful occasion as thousands of young and old supporters turned out in Texaco & Low-Cost to welcome their brother, friend, and son of the soil, Robert Kondema Kargbo, the National Deputy Chairman of the Sierra Leone People’s Party [SLPP].

Present at the event were West Urban Youth Commissioner Umar Faud Bawoh, former Constituency Chairman Chris Massaquoi, section chiefs, and other party stakeholders.

Speaking on behalf of the community and support groups, speakers congratulated Mr. Kargbo as the youngest Deputy Chairman in the party’s history. As a proud son of Kissi, they highlighted the community’s challenges and appealed for them to be given priority.

In his response, Commissioner Kargbo thanked the community for the massive turnout and assured them of the government’s continued support. He pledged to work toward addressing their concerns and announced a donation of 50 million old Leones to strengthen intra-party activities in the area.
