Of course these small beauties are featured in a miniature quilt!
“Little Johnny Jump Ups” by Pamela Hanes
“The purple and yellow fabric in this little quilt reminds me of the johnny jump ups or violas I loved as a child. “ Pamela found working on a miniature scale to be excellent for practicing piecing accuracy.

Summer begins on Sunday and for many people summer means traveling!
Judi Schwarz’s quilt, “Travels & Rambles” reminds us of the surprises and joys our journeys can bring: "My quilt reminds me of my favorite part of traveling – the surprises one finds when wandering down lanes and peeking into courtyards and alleys. Who knows what will inspire a new quilt! All the indigo fabrics are from my trip to Thailand about ten years ago. "

QA has World Cup Fever!!
By QA member Hope Rice, the front of this quilt is jerseys pieced in (Says Hope, "I’ll never do that again!") with soccer ball freehand quilting (zoom in on that!) and a back depicting a soccer field.
We think the iconic sportcaster, Andrés Cantor said it best: "GOOOOOOALLLLLLLL!!!"

“Silver Threads” by Kathy Lee
Rich colors with metallic accents!
Kathy started with a pattern for the center star then designed the rest herself. Said Kathy, “After it was finished it reminded me of spider webs. It is corded along the edge which frames the quilt and draws your eye out to the stitching in the corners. There is a silver dragonfly pin attached. For fun, I add a dragonfly on most of my quilts. "
