The Greek Government initiated an international tender process for licensing one of the first European Integrated Resort Casinos (“IRC”) in Athens. We partnered with Miura Holdings to explore this opportunity. This project is envisaged to become an international destination and an example of integrated and sustainable living by transforming the former airport site into several components: residential, shopping, working, leisure, entertainment and cultural facilities.

The project intended to reshape the gaming industry in Europe by being the largest of its kind that is backed by significant infrastructure support to capture growing tourism demand. We envisioned a resort that will bring a wide range of uses and programs that attract local, national and international visitors at all times of the week, month and year.

With engaging retail and restaurants, world-class conference and MICE facilities, luxury hotels for both leisure and business visitors, and innovative entertainment and gaming offers, the Aether is bound to create multiple repeat visits and maximize the guest experience of all visitors. The Aether has scale, variety and quality that reinforce its position as the premier destination in Athens.
