Two Textured Vest | Core Collection Drop II

We set out to create a fully knitted piece for this drop, but the machinery and equipment needed weren’t accessible in Palestine, and when available, existed only in limited areas of the West Bank.

We tried a different approach, mixing ready fabrics using the traditional cut-and-sew process. Finding the right materials was a challenge on its own, but after several trials, we combined a patterned knit with ribbed cotton, two fabrics that aren’t usually paired, but somehow it worked.

The process tested patience and creativity, and in the end, the piece came out carefully considered and beautifully crafted.

This Two Textured Vest is the epitome of Made in Palestine.

An extension of our release earlier this year. This drop came with its challenges. At moments it felt like it wouldn’t happen. Lots of steps back during production. In the final weeks, somehow everything fell into place.
