Have you met Odin? He is part of the therapy team at Alpine Roots Counseling. He works with Roxanne Walker, LCSW and is excited to meet you!

Odin is a two-year-old Golden Shepherd (that’s Golden Retriever meets German Shepherd-equal parts cuddle and security detail). He completed his Alliance of Therapy Dogs certification in 2024 and joined Alpine Roots in March 2025. He immediately became Employee of the Month (and every month since—no one has had the heart to tell him otherwise).

Clocking in at 92 pounds of pure fluff and affection, Odin brings a hairy new skill set to the therapy team. He specializes in lying on client’s feet, looking majestic, and taking naps in the cozy office. He resides in Sheridan, Wyoming with his humans and older feline sister, Basil, whom he respects… from a cautious distance.

When off-duty, Odin enjoys digging mysterious holes, chasing tennis balls like it’s his full-time job, and receiving lavish ear scratches while pretending he’s never been pet before.
