Another dreaded Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator Instrument Panel failure. Without warning, the screen will go blank. A blank screen makes it difficult to easily access crucial information like fuel level and fluid temperatures. The point of failure in this case appears to be due to a rubbed-through ribbon cable, causing a short within the LCD chassis.

New tech is usually a good thing but Stop/Start systems are one of those advancements that are often difficult to embrace. Not all Stop/Start systems are created equally. There are notable improvements to the design that typically would have made it superior to a pre Start/Stop counterpart. Some of the obvious improvements over a typical modern gear reduction starter are extra brushes with greater height, more magnetic yokes, needle bearings, and even more teeth to contact the flex plate.
