The Arcane Texas Fact of the Day:

The longest traditional sidewalk in the world is the Galveston Seawall. In September 2025, Guinness certified it as the world's longest uninterrupted walkway at 16.58 kilometers (10.3 miles). The sidewalk runs the entire length of the seawall without being interrupted by cross streets or crossings.
