Facts & Figures 2020 Reports Largest One-year Drop in Cancer Mortality 01/08/2020

Some positive news coming out from the American Cancer Society today! According to the American Cancer Society, the cancer death rate declined by 29% from 1991-2017, including a 2.2% drop from 2016-2017. The steady 26-year decline is driven by long-term drops in death rates for the four major cancers- lung, colorectal, breast, & prostate.

One million dollars in two years to cancer research! We are very proud of this accomplishment!

Bill, Chris, Ryan and Meghan Raveis proudly presented Lorraine Egan, of the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, with the proceeds from this year's during the Annual Manager’s Luncheon at the Union League Café in New Haven, CT.

The $500,000 donation will directly fund groundbreaking research in the prevention, detection, and treatment of all forms of cancer. Potential recipients of the 2016 William Raveis Charitable Fund Fellowship Awards are currently under review.
