Faith...The Power of Yes

My focus this week is on Faith, the first of the Twelve Powers of Mankind. As Hebrews 11:1 teaches, faith means "the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen"—or simply, believing it before you see it. Represented by the disciple Peter, located in the center of the head, and symbolized by the color blue, faith is an ever-present energy we all possess. Unity co-founder Charles Fillmore noted that we often misdirect this power into worry or lack. Instead of trying to have faith in a distant God, we must claim the faith from God already within us, transforming our minds into a fertile soil of divine possibility.
This active power is perfectly illustrated by big dreamers who demand a bigger faith. When Reverend Robert Schuller envisioned the historic $18 million Crystal Cathedral, he did not have the money, but he had the spiritual conviction to make it a reality. Like Peter stepping onto the water, we are called to redirect our focus away from negative limitations and toward our highest visions. This month, let us awaken our inner Peter, visualize that vibrant blue light, and use our inherent power to weave new connections in our brains and bring our dreams to life.
JOIN us this Sunday as we tread the waters of faith,
In gratitude for all our many opportunities,
Aubree-Lynn
