Interviewers complete nationally recognized training in child development, trauma-informed practices, forensic interviewing protocols, memory and communication, and courtroom testimony. They also participate in continuing education, peer review, and ongoing quality assurance to ensure every interview meets the highest professional standards.

Their commitment to learning helps provide children with a safe, supportive environment while ensuring investigations are conducted with care and integrity.

This morning, Sunflower House staff participated in our Keeping Kids Safe Online training, strengthening our knowledge of the digital spaces children and teens navigate every day.

As technology continues to evolve, so do the risks young people may face online. This training helps adults recognize warning signs, understand current trends in online safety, and learn practical ways to support and protect children from online exploitation, cyberbullying, and other digital dangers.

By staying informed, we can better equip families and communities with the tools they need to help kids stay safe both online and offline. 💛
