π What an epic night on the water! π
Tonight's paddleboarding adventure was one for the books. The calm water was a welcome change from last week's windy conditions, making for a relaxing and enjoyable evening for everyone who came out.
We were excited to welcome several new faces, and as always, the night was filled with laughter, conversations, and meaningful connection. But more than anything, community continues to grow. Every event reminds us how important it is to have a place where people can come together, support one another, and discover that recovery can be filled with joy, adventure, and friendship.
We're incredibly grateful to be able to offer opportunities like this, and it's been amazing to see how much these experiences mean to the people who participate.
Thank you to everyone who comes out and makes these events so special. Thank you to everyone who supports ROAR and believes in what we're building. And a special thank you to the community members who donated to help make paddleboarding possible. Your generosity has created opportunities for connection, healing, and fun that continue to impact lives.
Recovery doesn't have to be boring. Sometimes it looks like sunshine, calm water, good friends, and a paddleboard.
We can't wait to see you at the next adventure!

πΏ Another Great Evening at Lema Ranch! πΏ
Tonightβs walk at Lema Ranch was exactly what recovery, community, and connection are all about. We were treated to beautiful weather, scenic views, and an incredible group of people who showed up ready to enjoy the evening together.
Along the way, there was plenty of laughter, meaningful conversations, and the kind of genuine connection that reminds us why these gatherings matter so much. Whether people came to get some exercise, clear their minds, meet new friends, or simply enjoy the outdoors, everyone contributed to making it a wonderful evening.
One of the best parts of every ROAR activity is seeing how quickly strangers become friends and how a simple walk can turn into an opportunity for support, encouragement, and belonging. Recovery doesn't have to happen alone, and nights like tonight are a great reminder of that.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped create such a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Weβre grateful for each and every one of you and excited to continue building this amazing community together.

πββοΈ What an Incredible Night on the Water! πββοΈπ
Tonight's paddleboarding adventure out at Oak Bottom was our largest turnout yet, and what a night it was! π
The wind definitely had other plans for us, but as we've come to expect from this amazing community, everyone worked together, encouraged one another, and helped make sure everyone got out on the water and back safely. πͺ
We shared food, laughter, stories, and connection while taking in a beautiful sunset over the lake. Moments like these remind us why ROAR exists. It's never just about the activityβit's about the friendships being built, the support being offered, and the sense of belonging that continues to grow with every event.
The teamwork tonight was incredible. From unloading boards and helping new paddlers get started, to packing everything up at the end of the evening, people stepped up without being asked. That spirit of service and community is what makes ROAR so special. β€οΈ
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made tonight such a success. We'd also like to give a special shout-out to everyone who supported and shared our GoFundMe campaign. Your support helped make our paddleboarding program possible and continues to create opportunities for people in recovery to experience connection, adventure, and joy in sobriety.
We'd also like to thank Redding NOW for helping spread the word and supporting our efforts to reach more people in the community. π
We are incredibly grateful and blessed by the support we've received from this community. Watching ROAR grow has been amazing, but even more amazing is seeing the connections, friendships, and hope being built along the way.
