Who doesn’t like a nice hike in the GSM National Park?.

What an absolutely incredible day it has been! I embarked on my very first trekking hike with my three amigos, Machu, Picchu, and Darby! Together, we explored the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, GSM NP, on a 4-mile round trip adventure. With meaningful weight packs for Machu and Darby, and Picchu light on his feet with just his saddle, they showcased remarkable poise, navigating the trail with ease and curiosity, brought smiles on the faces of passing hikers along the way. After some gentle encouragement, they even took the first steps into running creek water, discovering a newfound joy. I’m so proud of my boys and deeply grateful to my friends Laura and David, whose expert guidance and wealth of experience are invaluable.
