Performance by @bionicandthewires Scientists found that fungi constantly send bioelectrical signals through their mycelium, like tiny messages moving through a living network. By connecting those signals to a synthesizer, each pulse is turned into a musical note, letting the mushroom “perform” in real time. And it’s not random. Mushrooms react to light, touch, temperature, and changes in their environment, and every reaction changes the melody. It’s basically nature composing its own soundtrack. This experiment is part of bio-music, where living organisms create sound through technology. It also shows how smart and responsive fungi really are, almost like they’re communicating through rhythm.
