Hey Neighbors! We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Vern’s Garage. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and maintenance, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models. Certification from an accredited automotive program or institution is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle issues
• Perform engine and transmission repairs/replacements
• Conduct brake, suspension, and steering system repairs
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic
• Certification from an accredited automotive program preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong communication skills
