"Cayo Coco is the fourth largest island in Cuba and part of the group of islands and cays called "Jardines del Rey" located north of the Ciego de Avila province.
They tell that the conquerors arrived in the area around the year 1513 and when seeing such beauty they decided to name the cayería "Gardens of the King" in honor to the then King of Spain, Fernando the Catholic."
