One of the ways we protect our customers’ solar investments is by testing the water before and after it runs through our Tucker three-stage filtration system. Using a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter, we compare the customer’s tap water to the purified water coming out of our system.

In these photos, you can see the customer’s water reading at 231 TDS, while our purified water is reading at only 2 TDS after passing through our RO, DI, and carbon filtration system. That means we’re removing minerals and impurities that can leave residue, spotting, and buildup on solar panels over time.

At Solar Suds, we avoid harsh chemicals whenever possible because many cleaning agents can contribute to long-term degradation of the anti-reflective coating on solar panels. Instead, we focus on eco-friendly purified water cleaning methods that help maximize efficiency while protecting your system and your warranty. 🌎⚡
