Should Cops Follow the Same Laws They Enforce?
A recent social media video is raising some questions about Selma PD’s commitment to following the rules they’re paid to enforce. In the clip, a local resident calls out the department for its officers and staff blatantly ignoring vehicle codes – and it’s got people talking. The man, who recently got slapped with a tint citation, confronted a Selma PD Sergeant, asking why the law seems to apply to everyone except the cops.
“So who is going to give them the tickets!?" he asks, pointing out that personal vehicles belonging to officers and staff aren't exactly model citizens on the road. It’s got us wondering – should Selma PD be setting a better example and actually following the vehicle codes they’re supposed to uphold?
Who polices the police? Well, looks like it's the people who are holding them accountable.
Chaos erupted at the Selma City Council meeting! During the swearing-in of new council members, three current members, including the city manager, were MIA. The deputy city manager, city attorney, and city clerk stormed out, declaring the meeting unofficial. Talk about sore losers trying to cling to power! Things got even wilder when the police chief ordered everyone, including the new council members, to leave or face arrest. Is the city manager is using city staff against the mayor and the citizens. Political sign drama! A follower submitted a clip showing mayoral candidate Louis Franco and his sidekick John Trujillo caught red-handed setting up campaign signs right in front of current Mayor Scott Robertson’s area where his sign went missing overnight. Robertson pulls up on them, and you can see the fear in their heart. The sign wars in Selma are heating up 🔥

💸The city manager is forced the city into a long-term commitment. As part of his settlement he wants to extend his contract for 5 more years with yearly raises ending up being paid $342,063 by 2031!!
🚫Three council members (who apparently left their backbones at home) caved faster than a house of cards. John Trujillo, Blanca Mendoza Navarro, and Bev Cho voted to settle with the city manager, no court case, no claim. 🤝 The city manager’s got these council members wrapped around his little finger.

WATCH THIS 🤥Council member John Trujillo recently appeared on a YouTube show, to complain for 20 minutes about social media and your comments in Facebook groups. First, he denied having any social media, only to later express anger for comments made about him and seeing the same people comment.

Jobita Camacho is in hot water after the Fresno County DA charged her with filing a false declaration of candidacy and perjury. She filed to run for District 4, the barrio, but public records shows she actually lives in District 2, the Valley Life Church area!
❌Camacho faces one count of election fraud and one count of perjury. If convicted, she could get up to four years in prison. Camacho’s court date is set for September 25. According to Fresno County Clerk James Kus, candidates are only removed from the ballot if found guilty.
⁉️Why would someone do this?
One can only imagine that she was coerced by John Trujillo’s camp to run for this seat in order to maintain their power, especially now that Beverly Cho is no longer a viable candidate in this district. 👎
🏠Jobita’s campaign material lists an address of 1486 Nelson, which we assume is her campaign headquarters. This address leads to well-known Democratic Party consultant Doug Kessler. Kessler, along with his associate John Trujillo, knows the rules and how to bend them. Their quest for power and blatant dishonesty has landed this woman in serious trouble. As the saying goes, lie with dogs and you get fleas.
