The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 7 AM to 7 PM CDT Saturday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* WINDS...Northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 18 percent.

* IMPACTS...The combination of a dry air mass and windy conditions will result in critical fire weather conditions. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.

FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING.

* WINDS...Northeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 19 percent.

* IMPACTS...The combination of a dry air mass and windy conditions will result in critical fire weather conditions.

Outdoor burning is not recommended.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT DALLAS COUNTY THROUGH 345 AM CDT...

At 239 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Columbiana to Consul. Movement was east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Selma, Clanton, Valley Grande, Goodwater, Rockford, Kellyton, Selmont-West Selmont, Stewartville, Weogufka, Thorsby, Autaugaville, White Hall, Orrville, Billingsley, Benton, Dollar, Bradford, Gap Of The Mountain, Parnell, and Tyler.
