Triangle East Baptist Association
12/12/2025
Let's meet one more of our new leaders, Billy Rice!
Billy was also affirmed at the Triangle East Baptist Association annual meeting as our new Church Health Strategist, providing biblical clarity, practical encouragement, and gospel-driven direction to churches seeking greater unity, vitality, and mission focus. Billy’s approach is deeply rooted in Scripture and shaped by a pastor’s heart—helping congregations diagnose real issues, pursue spiritual health, and build ministries that reflect the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In addition to his association role, Billy faithfully pastors Watkins Chapel Baptist Church of Middlesex, NC, where he is known for clear expository preaching, intentional discipleship, and a warm pastoral presence that connects with all generations. His leadership blends theological depth with everyday practicality, making him a steady guide for churches navigating change, revitalization, or seasons of renewed growth.
Billy is a certified vision framing strategist (Auxano), and is well connected to RevitalizeNC, a ministry of NC Baptists.
Billy has a passion for church revitalization and renewal. His desire and wisdom to develop healthy churches and healthy leaders will be a great blessing to Triangle East as he continues to champion gospel-centered ministry with conviction, clarity, and compassion.
