Seguin Smiles PLLC, the private practice of Dr. Janice Weinman, is looking for a professional, mature, gentle, and highly knowledgeable full-time dental hygienist to join our TEAM!

This is a PRIVATE PRACTICE, not corporately owned. Our practice is high-caring, family-focused, and committed to the latest advancements in dentistry.

We are ideally seeking a full-time hygienist (Monday–Friday), but may consider part-time availability if the right candidate applies.

The ideal candidate must have a strong perio background, excellent clinical, written, and verbal communication skills, and be confident using the latest dental technology.

Office Hours

Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm

Duties

* Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
* Take and assess dental radiographs
* Evaluate patients’ oral health and provide treatment recommendations
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
* Administer nitrous oxide and perform LASER therapy as needed
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft
* Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
* Assist the dentist with various procedures as needed

Requirements

* Valid Dental Hygiene license in Texas
* Strong knowledge of perio treatment and oral-systemic health
* Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA compliance
* Familiarity with dental software systems (Eaglesoft preferred)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
