Sometimes the best amenity isn't Wi-Fi, a fire pit, or a kayak.

Sometimes it's peace.

One of our recent guests wrote something that stopped me in my tracks:

"I was out there by myself at one point, and I don't think I've ever felt such peace."

She also mentioned making friends with the ducks.

It made me smile because that's exactly what happens here.

You slow down.
You watch the water.
You notice the birds instead of your notifications.

Before long, you're sitting on the dock, wondering why life can't always move at this pace.
