Today we take a pause to pray for all of those whose lives we lost Sept 11, 2001.

Do you remember where you were and what you were doing?

I do. I hadn’t even been in the U.S. Air Force for even 1 year yet. I was 19 years old and working at Brooks AFB in San Antonio Texas. I had just finished processing over 300 leave forms that morning when we got the news and we were all called the the Family Support Center to watch the TV. Then the information started flowing down from The Wing. Those 300 leave forms I had just processed had to be recalled. The number of phone calls I made that morning was unreal. I will never forget those lives we lost.
