Janet Jackson Birthday Weekend 2020
I wanted to make a post collecting some moments that happened over this past weekend. Something really special happened that I’m still on a high from. played a track that has literally just been a dream of mine up until that moment.

If you listen to Sylvia’s song Easy Evil, you’ll catch the phrase “Like A Moth To A Flame” , I really think that Janet, & were all feeling these tracks going into the making of the album ( janet. )
This was an amazing experience overall. Collaborating with Abby ( ) really helped me level up in a few departments and blessed my timeline with her creativity! Thank you Abby

A few years ago I did this portrait for my brother as a birthday gift. Here’s my Throwback Thursday 🙌🏽
Over the years I’ve learned of the legacy left to the world of hip and to music in general.
One small fact I learned, In 1997 released the single for Got Til It’s Gone , her first single off . It went on to be a controversial track relating to its lyrical and compositional origin. J Dillas remix named (Ummah Jay Dee’s Revenge Mix) still stands as one of the better remixes overall.
