Hey everyone! I’m still preparing for my March presentation on the Northern State Hospital Cemetery, and I’d love your input. What topics are you curious about? Are there specific questions you’d like me to answer in the presentation? Feel free to drop any ideas, even if they’re small. I made a post a while back. HELP NEEDED ON THE BURIAL RECORDS PROJECT.

Construction on the cemetery is supposed to start in January, and part of the project includes a memorial listing the names of everyone buried there. There’s still a lot of work to do on the burial records that will be used for the memorial — there are over 1,600 names, and it’s about half finished. I just don’t have the time to put into it right now, so I’m hoping to find someone who can help move it forward.

I’m looking for a volunteer who enjoys detailed, methodical research and has good Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, adding notes, and hyperlinks). You’ll need a computer for this — it’s not something that can be done on a phone or tablet.

Ideally, someone in or near the Skagit area, so we can meet up to go fo over the process.
